Effective 3 October 2026
Nimo is a puzzle game. This policy explains what Nimo collects, why, and the choices you have. We only collect what the game needs.
Who we are
Nimo is an independent game. For anything about your privacy, email support@sabinex.app.
What we collect
If you play as a guest (not signed in)
- Your progress, coins, items and settings stay on your phone.
- A device ID: a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your phone's Android ID. We use it to send news and maintenance notices, to keep the game fair (for example, by blocking a device that cheats) and to count crashes. It can't be turned back into the original ID.
If you sign in
- How you sign in: your email address (for email codes) or your Google account ID and email (for Google sign-in). Nimo has no passwords.
- Your save: solved stages, stars and times, coins, hints, the items you own, rewards you've claimed, streaks, play time, stamps and level.
- Your public profile: the name you choose, Nimo's look, your level and a few stats. Other players can see these in the rankings.
- Your sign-in sessions: which devices are signed in, with their platform and app version.
Technical data
- Our servers log requests (IP address, time and address requested) to keep them secure and to fix problems. Logs are rotated and kept only for a short time.
- Crash and health counts, without personal details.
What we don't collect
- Nimo doesn't include advertising or analytics tools from other companies. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy first.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
- Purchases go through Google Play (or the App Store). We never see your card or bank details; we only receive a confirmation of what you bought.
How we use it
- To save your progress and bring it back on another phone (cloud save).
- To run the rankings, the daily set and events.
- To keep the game fair and secure, and to stop cheating.
- To send sign-in codes and important account emails.
- To fix bugs and keep the servers healthy.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
Where it's kept
Our servers are in Germany (European Union). Sign-in codes are stored scrambled (hashed) and expire after 10 minutes.
How long we keep it
- Your account and save: until you delete your account.
- Individual results for the rankings: 30 days. After that, only your best result per stage stays, as part of your save.
- Server logs: a few weeks at most.
- Backups: overwritten within a few days.
Deleting your account
In Nimo, open Settings › Delete account. Your account is scheduled for deletion, you're signed out on every device, and your profile disappears from the rankings right away. After 30 days, your account and all your game data are erased for good. If you change your mind, just sign in again within those 30 days and nothing is lost.
You can also email support@sabinex.app from the address you sign in with, and we'll do it for you. Guest data lives only on your phone: uninstalling Nimo removes it.
Children
Nimo is made for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@sabinex.app. Depending on where you live (for example under the EU's GDPR or the Philippine Data Privacy Act), you may have more rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and we'll tell you in the game about important changes.
